Terms and Conditions

Slinger Hire

  • The Slinger is available to Lugton Park Tennis Club members and Non-Members.  All players are responsible for booking and paying for their own court time during the hire period. 

  • Access codes are not to be shared with anyone else.

  • No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 1 hour of the allocated booking time.

  • The Slinger is not to be used in wet weather conditions. 

  • The Slinger tennis balls cannot get wet. If a tennis ball gets wet, do not store it back in the Slinger ball release compartment. Instead place it in the Slinger storage compartment.

  • The Slinger cannot be taken off the Waikato Tennis premises. It may be used on the indoor and outdoor courts (weather conditions permitting).

  • Tennis balls are included in your hire. You cannot use any other tennis ball in the Slinger. Lost balls will incur a $5 replacement cost each.

  • If you lose or damage the Slinger remote you will be charged a $100 replacement fee. 

  • The ClubVIP package is only available to Lugton Park Tennis Club members. ClubVIP bookings cannot be shared between players.

  • Club30 and Club60 bookings can be shared by 2 or more players if you wish.

  • The Slinger cannot be hired by Clubs or professional Coaches for use during lessons, group sessions, or club days. For hire for these purposes please contact us at admin@slingerhire.com

  • If you damage the Slinger during your hire or you notice anything out of the ordinary when you collect it - please discontinue use and contact us immediately. 

  • We reserve the right to charge you for any intentional damage, damage caused by using the Slinger in a manner not intended, or damage caused when in breach of our hire terms and conditions. Your liability is limited to the replacement cost of the Slinger (up to $2,500). 

  • You authorise us to charge your payment method for any penalty fees including but not limited to lost ball, lost or damaged remote, Slinger damage up to the amounts set out in these terms and conditions.

  • Can't get the Slinger unlocked? Slinger battery died while you were using it? Can't figure out the right setting? No stress. Contact us immediately and we’ll get you sorted. at admin@slingerhire.com or Coach Tahlia on 027 767 1809 and we'll get you sorted.
